I fear I was a bit overenthusiastic in my recent consumption of alfajores. Delectable! I pecked my way through a classic. And a roasted almond. And a coconut. . . and a white chocolate. . . and a strawberry. . . and I finished up with a massive coffee alfajor.
For balance, I needed a cup of coffee. So I made some stovetop espresso (ahem -- that is RoosRoast espresso in the bag -- although it is masquerading as RFN).
The coffee was GOOD. It was so good, that I went after some dulce de leche. No bread; no apples or bananas; no ice cream; I just dipped my beak right in the jar.
